Ghanaians watch UTV more than any other station

Accra-based United Television (UTV) has emerged the most watched TV station in Ghana for the second quarter of 2017.

This is according to a survey conducted by GeoPoll, one of the largest providers of overnight audience measurement data in Africa.
The station beat Adom TV, which was the most watched station in the first quarter of 2017.

In Greater Accra Ghana, UTV emerged as the most watched station for the second quarter of 2017, with an average audience share of 18.8%. TV3 came second with an audience share of 12.4%.

There was, however, stiff competition for the first position in ratings between UTV and Adom TV in Ashanti Ghana.
UTV came top with an audience share of 18.0%, while Adom TV followed with an audience share of 15.6%.

Adom TV, however, had the most ratings in Western Ghana during peak hours.
