Abeiku’s ‘Masters’ in Tourism Management will boost tourism in Ghana – Prof Kwaku Boakye

Head of Tourism Department at University of Cape Coast Prof. Kwaku Boakye believes media mogul Abeiku Santana graduating with Masters in Tourism Management will boost the tourism sector in Ghana.

At the just ended graduation held at University of Cape Coast (UCC) saw host of “Ekwansodwodwo” on Accra-based Okay FM, known in real life as Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey has successfully graduated with Masters in Tourism Management.

Speaking in an interview via phone, Mr. Boakye affirmed that with the masters secured by Abeiku, will see him put tourism on top of the map.

According to him, Abeiku as an ambassador and not just an ambassador but knowns the technical know-how when its comes to tourism management through his education he has required and graduated successfully.

“…He [Abeiku], is very unique and i know very well that he will push and also educate Ghanaians the need to preserve and also make money from our tourist site in Ghana. Not only that since lecturers of UCC teach students when it comes to academia with Mr. Aggrey, for instance when he speaks it reaches to millions rather than we lecturers so i believe in him and he can take tourism in Ghana to the next level,”he averred.

When quizzed the way forward for tourism in Ghana? He asserted that tourism in Ghana looks brighter and also creating more job opportunities in the country [Ghana].

Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana, holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from GIMPA and he has been inducted into the Chartered institute of Marketing Ghana since 2008. He holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Pan African Bible Seminar.
