Social media company Twitter will partner with this year’s edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, (VGMA).
The partnership seeks to give wide coverage of the awards event, focusing on highlighting the glitz and glamour of the red carpet, moments of performances, and winning reactions.
Twitter has initiated a customized hashmoji to authenticate conversations across the world.
The Hashmoji which has the acronym of the event will appear whenever #VGMA23 is typed in a tweet.
Others will include #VGMA23onTV3, #VGMA23Unsung, and ‘VGMA.
“The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has over the years, lived up to its mandate. It’s been consistent in organizing exceptional shows while pulling together the movers and shakers of the industry. With a conversation span, running between 4 to 5months, the partnership no brainer,” Twitter Senior Partner Manager, Bernard Sokpe indicated.
Head of Public Events and Communications, Robert Klah added that the organizers of the VGMA were happy to walk the path with the social media giant adding that there are exciting times ahead.
