Promoting Inclusivity and Talent: GUBA Foundation Hosts Successful Autism Awareness & Acceptance Exhibition in London

The GUBA Foundation proudly announces the success of its Autism Awareness & Acceptance (AAA) Exhibition, held from April 9th to April 13th at The Tabernacle Art Gallery in London, United Kingdom. The event served as a platform to promote understanding, acceptance, and the celebration of unique talents within the autism community.

The exhibition showcased the extraordinary talent of 11-year-old multi-disciplinary artist Ama Antwiwaa Amponsah. Ama’s captivating artworks, primarily focusing on portraiture, mesmerized visitors with their intricate layers and striking 3D effect. Through her art, Ama sparked meaningful conversations about neuro-diversity, challenging stereotypes, and fostering a more inclusive environment.

The exclusive private view on April 9th and the finale on April 13th were graced by esteemed guests, including Nana Yaw Amponsah, father of Ama and President of Petrocub FC Moldova and former CEO Asante Kotoko FC, actor Danny Sapani, Lord Paul Boateng, HE Dr. Fatou – High Commissioner of Gambia, June Sarpong OBE, actor Hugh Quarshie, Bell Ribeiro Addy MP, former black stars head coach Chris Hughton and actor Ellen Thomas. Their presence underscored the importance of promoting inclusivity and understanding within our community.

The GUBA Foundation extends its heartfelt appreciation to our sponsor, CEEK VR and Mary Spio, Founder of CEEK VR, a past GUBA award winner who won African innovator of the year for their unwavering support.

Testimonials from guests reflected the impact of Ama’s art and the exhibition’s message of acceptance:
