Renowned Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, has passed away at the age of 62 at Evercare Hospital in Lagos State.

The veteran actor, who battled prolonged health issues resulting in the amputation of both legs, succumbed to complications related to diseased blood vessels.

Mr. Ibu’s family had previously appealed for financial support from well-wishers, citing constant blood clotting and other health challenges that necessitated the critical decision to undergo amputation in a bid to save his life.
