Mahama sadened by ‘tragic deaths’ at Kintampo Waterfalls

Former president John Mahama has reacted to the tragic news of trees crashing some tourists at the Kintampo Waterfalls on Sunday.

Nineteen persons, mostly students of Wenchi Senior High School, died after hilltop trees fell on them following a heavy rainstorm while they were swimming.

In a message of condolence to the victim’s families posted on Twitter, former President Mahama expressed his sadness over the “tragic deaths”.
