Ghanaian cultural music and dance folklore group Esuapim Cultural Troupe are set to represent Ghana at this year’s edition of the African Film Awards – UK.
The group which has been in existence for the past ten years performed at the launch of the awards months ago held in Ghana which attracted thousands of patrons.
Their performances are basically African folklore tunes, African cultural and traditional dances as well as diaspora performances.
According to the manager of the group George Martei Larbi , they have been tasked to do the opening performance of this year’s African Film Awards in UK.
He stated that they are ever ready to entertain patrons of the event.
This year’s African Film Awards will be hosted by Nollywood actor Segun Arinze and supported by actress Yvonne, this will be the second time the duo will serve as MCs together at the same event .
