Unsung female artiste Maya Blu has advised women not to sacrifice for men in their relationship.

Speaking in an interview with blogger Attractive Mustapha Nii Okai Inusah after performing her popular song good girl no dey pay, she said that the main reasons for recording that song is to encourage women.

She further explained that the song is her own life experience of being a good girl and sacrificing a lot for a man which did not pay-off in the end.

She added that in her past relationship, she tried to make sure that her man eats before she even eats but later realized she made a mistake sacrificing for the man.

“My song is basically to encourage women to focus on themselves, work hard and love themselves more than any other person“, Maya Blu stated.
