40 years of doing music, I have not seen $1M before – veteran musician Rex Omar bemoans

Veteran highlife musician, Rex Omar, has revealed that throughout his forty years of doing music, he has not seen $1million before.

Speaking on Accra FM monitored by Journalist and Blogger Attractive Mustapha about the economy, he said Ghanaians have lost hope in politicians — however, the last hope left is John Mahama.

Rex Omar expressed dismay at how politicians are amassing wealth while majority of Ghanaians suffer.

“I have not seen one million dollars before, even though I have been doing music for forty years, and I don’t think if I will see that money it will be through music, but today, people enter into politics and make more than one million dollars” the Abiba hitmaker said.

He added that he has observed that majority of the youth now sees politics as a place to make money, instead of serving the country.

Rex Omar is one of the few celebrities fighting for positive change for Ghana, and the second coming of John Mahama.
