12-year-old home-schooled boy gains admission to University of Ghana

12-year-old Viemens Bamfo has made history by becoming the youngest student to ever gain admission to the University of Ghana.

Viemens who was home-schooled by his father has been offered admission to pursue Public Administration via the distance mode.

He was part of matriculants at this year’s Matriculation Ceremony for Distance Education (DE) students which was held on Saturday October 26, 2019 at the Accra City Campus.

Viemens was selected to deliver the “Expectations “ at the 2019 Matriculation Ceremony for DE Students.

Viemens, the fourth among five children, was born at Akim Oda in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
