Wendy Shay responding to treatment after accident, she needs your prayers – RuffTown Records

Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay is recovering after being involved in a serious car accident on Sunday night.

The vocalist’s record label Rufftown Records has released a statement on Monday, September 11, confirming that the songstress’ vehicle was hit from behind by a tipper truck around midnight on the ACP Kwabenya road in Accra.

“The singer was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she received prompt medical attention,” the statement read in part.

According to Rufftown Records CEO Ricky Nana Agyeman, Wendy Shay is currently in stable condition after the collision and is expected to make a full recovery with time.

“We still ask for your prayers for Wendy Shay during this time,” Agyeman urged fans.

The accident comes just weeks after Shay dropped her latest single “Every Man Cheats” which she says is an empowerment for women.

The vocalist’s management team says they will provide further updates on her recovery as she continues to receive treatment.
