I Don’t Drink, Smoke, Womanize or Gamble—I Focus on Business -Alhaji Seidu Agongo (Video)

Founder and Owner of Class Media Group, Alhaji Seidu Agongo, has opened up about his personal principles, lifestyle choices, and deep commitment to philanthropy in a revealing interview with renowned broadcaster Kwasi Kyei Darkwah (KKD).

Alhaji Agongo, a respected businessman and media mogul, shared that he lives a modest and disciplined life, staying away from common vices. “I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, I don’t womanize, and I don’t gamble,” he said firmly. “I’m focused on what I want to do—which is business.”

He emphasized that his joy in life comes not from material wealth but from helping others. “When I make [money], I take care of people because I find joy in helping people. That’s what makes me happy,” he stated. Alhaji Agongo, who is known for adopting children and paying school fees for the underprivileged, added, “That’s why I adopt children and help them—especially when it comes to education.”

The philanthropist also spoke about his aversion to luxury and flamboyance, explaining that legacy is not defined by expensive possessions. “I don’t use luxury cars because when I die, no one will remember me for that,” he said. “Do you remember the car Kwame Nkrumah used? Or Jerry John Rawlings, Atta Mills, or even John Mahama during his first term? That’s not what people remember.”

In a separate conversation, Alhaji Agongo stressed the importance of human-centered success. “I’m more interested in how we support each other to evolve to our best in life,” he said. “Richness and success become vanity if they do not reflect in uplifting human life.”
