President John Dramani Mahama on Tuesday officially commissioned Mrs Kulsoume Sinare Baffoe as Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Ghana to the Kingdom of Spain, marking a significant step in strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The commissioning ceremony, held at the Jubilee House, brought together senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and family members of the ambassador-designate. In his remarks, President Mahama expressed confidence in Mrs Sinare Baffoe’s ability to represent Ghana’s interests abroad and deepen bilateral cooperation.
He emphasized the importance of Ghana’s relationship with Spain, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, tourism, and cultural exchange.
Mrs Kulsoume Sinare Baffoe, in her acceptance speech, thanked the President for the trust reposed in her and pledged to serve with diligence and integrity.
Her appointment is expected to further boost diplomatic engagement and open new avenues for collaboration between the two nations. She will assume her post in Madrid after completing the necessary diplomatic formalities.
