Dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah, widely known as Shatta Wale, has taken legal action against media personality Abubakar Ahmed, popularly called Blakk Rasta, at the High Court in Accra.

The lawsuit follows the circulation of a video posted on December 15, 2025, on Blakk Rasta’s social media platforms under the banner Blakk Empire Media. The video, titled “Shatta Wale, self-confessed king of fraud,” allegedly contained statements the musician considers damaging to his public image.
