Goldstar Air Special Annual Easter Package Named Adjaben; The Seven Benefits After The Cross.

Dependable airline Goldstar Air, a private Ghanaian and United States company with no liabilities as of today and an issued Air Carrier Licence (ACL) from the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) to operate passenger and cargo flights across West Africa and intercontinental routes, will introduce exclusive annual Easter packages under the trademark ‘Adjaben’ pilgrimage, the seven benefits after the cross for the airline’s valued passengers.

Goldstar Air is advising the new administration that the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority must engage a qualified third-party certification team within this month to complete the airline’s remaining phases of its Safety Certificate (AOC), as the airline is above halfway through the certification process. There is no time to waste to start the 24-hour economy to create over two million direct and indirect job opportunities for Ghanaians. The Ghanaian youth cannot wait any longer in the ghettos, they need their well-paying jobs.

The airline’s ‘Adjaben’ Easter package is designed to appeal to Ghanaians in the diaspora, Christians, and international travelers who want to reconnect with their faith and heritage. It offers pilgrimage-style travel experiences that reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, tying them to personal, communal, and national breakthroughs. These are intentionally aligned with the seven symbolic benefits derived from the Christian interpretation of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Easter is a Christian festival that marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ. For many Christians, Easter is a celebration of the triumph of life over death and is considered a very important time of the year. Many non-Christians also enjoy a holiday during this period, making it a popular time to travel or spend with friends and family. The dates of Easter change from year to year, but it usually falls sometime between the end of March and the end of April.

The week before Easter is called Holy Week. The first day of Holy Week is Palm Sunday, which is the Sunday before Easter. Many Christians celebrate this as the day Jesus entered Jerusalem, and people laid down branches from palm trees on the road to welcome Him. Four days later is Maundy Thursday, which marks the Last Supper, when Jesus ate bread and drank wine with His twelve disciples. The following day is Good Friday, which is significant for Christians as the day Jesus was put to death on the cross. Many Christians believe that Jesus was killed and buried in a tomb on Friday, and that God raised Him from the dead on Sunday, so Easter Sunday is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus.

Many countries hold religious processions during Holy Week, and practicing Christians attend special church services. On Palm Sunday, many churches bless palm branches, and people lay them on the ground during processions to mark the day Jesus arrived in Jerusalem. The Last Supper on Maundy Thursday is commemorated in many Christian traditions through Communion, during which believers share bread and wine. Good Friday is traditionally a day of fasting, reflection, and mourning. Many church services begin at midnight on the night before Easter Sunday, with the lighting of candles symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness. On Easter Sunday, churches are filled with flowers representing new life, and at home, chocolate Easter eggs are often given as gifts.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced its financial outlook for the global airline industry in 2025, which indicates a slight strengthening of profitability despite ongoing cost and supply chain challenges. Total industry revenues are expected to reach $1.007 trillion, a 4.4% increase from 2024, and will be the first time that industry revenues will surpass the $1 trillion threshold. Expenses are projected to grow by 4.0% to $940 billion. Passenger numbers are expected to reach 5.2 billion in 2025, representing a 6.7% increase compared to 2024 and the first time that the number of passengers will exceed five billion. Cargo volumes are expected to reach 72.5 million tonnes, a 5.8% increase from 2024.

The initiative aims to encourage children to consider acquiring Ghanaian citizenship and foster a stronger connection to their heritage.

These children in future can contribute meaningfully to local community development and help boost Ghana’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Exposure to their cultural roots will also make them more empathetic toward cultural differences, better equipped to adapt to changing situations, and can even enhance their linguistic development.

The airline is committed to making your journey as memorable as your destination. The ‘Adjaben’ packages will include special in-flight experiences such as festive meals, Easter-themed entertainment, and holiday gifts for all passengers.

The seven key benefits of the cross are central to the Christian faith, symbolizing Jesus’ sacrificial love and offering both physical and spiritual blessings to believers. These principles will also guide the management of Goldstar Air in creating over two million job opportunities for Ghanaians, particularly the youth.

Forgiveness of sins is one of the greatest gifts of the cross. The Bible teaches that humanity is separated from God because of sin. Jesus’ death on the cross served as a sacrificial payment, taking on the punishment for humanity’s sins. This forgiveness allows believers to be cleansed, set free from guilt and shame, and given a new beginning, knowing that their sins have been fully pardoned by God.

Reconciliation with God means that believers are no longer alienated from God but are adopted into His family. This restored relationship brings a sense of belonging and intimacy with God. Sin separates humanity from God, creating a spiritual chasm that cannot be crossed by human effort alone. Through Jesus’ sacrifice, however, that separation is bridged, making it possible for believers to enjoy a restored relationship with God.

Freedom from the power of sin allows believers to live transformed lives, empowered by the Holy Spirit to resist temptation and grow in holiness. Through Jesus’ death, believers are set free from the bondage of sin and its control over their lives. While sin’s presence still exists in the world, its power no longer has ultimate authority over those who have accepted Christ.

Healing of the soul brings peace and freedom from past wounds, and some even experience physical healing through faith in the redemptive power of Jesus’ sacrifice. The cross provides healing on multiple levels, spiritual, emotional, and, for some, physical. Jesus’ sacrifice addresses the brokenness caused by sin and offers wholeness to those who believe.

Victory over Satan and evil shows that believers no longer need to live in fear of the enemy, knowing they have victory in Jesus. This victory gives them authority over the schemes of the enemy and the confidence to resist temptation and spiritual attacks. Jesus’ death on the cross not only paid the penalty for sin but also defeated the powers of darkness. Through His resurrection, He conquered death and stripped Satan of his authority over those who believe.

Peace with God brings a sense of rest and assurance, knowing that God’s wrath has been satisfied and that believers are accepted by Him. This inner peace affects all areas of life, bringing stability even in difficult circumstances. The cross offers peace with God, meaning that believers are no longer at odds with Him. The hostility and tension caused by sin are removed, creating harmony in the relationship.

Eternal life promise gives believers hope, comfort, and purpose. It assures them that their lives have eternal significance, and that death is not the end but a doorway to everlasting joy with God. The ultimate benefit of the cross is the gift of eternal life. Jesus’ death opens the way for believers to spend eternity with God, free from sin, sorrow, and suffering.

Goldstar Air will make the Easter pilgrimage even more special with its trademark ‘Adjaben’ packages, with free tickets every year for selected senior citizens to travel to destinations of their choice. This represents a massive investment in economic development and a game changer for the Black Star Experience.

Mr. Bannerman emphasized that Goldstar Air will focus on and leverage Ghana as the center of the world and the gateway to West Africa to deliver strong revenue performance. This will be driven by continued strength in travel demand and a mission anchored in faith, where the cross serves as the foundation of Christian hope, offering both present and eternal benefits, transforming believers’ lives, and providing assurance of God’s love and purpose. The ‘Adjaben’ pilgrimage will focus on the seven benefits after the cross, filled with excitement and gratitude to share every Easter with you, eager to embark on the journey together and make every flight a memorable experience.

The Kwahu Easter Paragliding Festival has become an international aviation sport, attracting thousands of tourists to Ghana for memorable experiences. It also plays a pivotal role in boosting domestic tourism, thereby creating jobs and generating revenue for locals, especially the youth.

Similarly, Accra Kotoka International Airport will serve as the gateway for flights from North American cities to Kwahu, with a driving distance of approximately 166 kilometers, also depending on your final destination.

Goldstar Air will promote orphanage tourism as one of the seven benefits after the cross. Orphanage tourism is a type of tourism in which individuals, often from wealthy Western countries, visit orphanages in less privileged nations. These trips can last up to a year and are especially popular among young people taking a year out between school and university. Activities typically include playing games with the children, singing songs, or teaching English. Goldstar Air will organize Easter parties at orphanages, allowing passengers to spend time with the children. Each year, the airline will bless some of the orphans with special meals and gifts to show them extra love and care.

The Easter ‘Adjaben’ initiative will promote trade and investment by creating a favorable environment for business activities. Conferences, exhibitions, and international events in Ghana and will serve as platforms for networking, knowledge exchange, and showcasing Ghana’s potential to global investors. This will help attract foreign direct investment, stimulate economic growth, and promote the development of local industries.

Hosting international conferences and exhibitions during the Easter festival will place Ghana on the map as a hub for business and knowledge sharing. These events will bring together professionals from various sectors, fostering innovation and collaboration while enhancing Ghana’s reputation as a premier destination for business tourism. International events, such as summits, concerts, and expos will position Ghana as a global destination for large-scale gatherings. These events will drive demand for local services, generate significant economic impact, and boost the country’s global profile.

Goldstar Air will also create ‘Adjaben’ travel packages specifically designed for persons with disabilities (PWDs), which will have a positive impact on Ghana’s tourism sector. These packages will include accessible transportation and accommodations that cater to the specific needs of PWDs. The airline aims to play a pivotal role in improving disability tourism in Ghana and contribute to a more inclusive and accessible world for all travelers.
The airline’s 24-hour service will further support disability tourism in Ghana by using wheelchair-friendly vehicles for PWDs. Goldstar Air will collaborate with local governments and organizations to improve infrastructure at popular tourist destinations. This includes the construction of ramps, accessible restrooms, and tactile paths for visually impaired visitors.

Beach tourism, another aspect of the seven benefits after the cross, refers to the cultural phenomenon of traveling to ocean beaches for leisure or vacation. It originated from medically prescribed sea bathing by British physicians in the 17th and 18th centuries and later spread across Europe and its colonies. Through affordable travel packages, Goldstar Air aims to develop Ghana’s seaside resorts into modern tourist attractions. Sea bathing remained a popular treatment for tuberculosis into the mid-1800s, by which time beachgoing had developed into a leisure activity meant to provide a respite from daily life. As one of the earliest forms of modern tourism, beachgoing remains a core element of the global tourism industry.

Recreational tourism, including activities like hiking, wildlife safaris, and beach outings, attracts adventure seekers and nature lovers. Ghana’s diverse landscapes offer a range of recreational opportunities that appeal to both domestic and international tourists. This initiative supports local businesses, promotes environmental conservation, and provides a boost to rural economies.

Goldstar Air, the wings of Ghana and the belly of America, will help develop and promote eco-tourism activities that highlight Ghana’s rich biodiversity and natural beauty. The airline will organize and promote wildlife safaris in national parks and reserves to attract tourists from Ghana and abroad. Promoting wildlife tourism in Ghana requires a comprehensive approach involving conservation efforts, community engagement, tourism promotion, educational initiatives, research, and sound policy implementation. By collaborating with local communities, government agencies, and international partners, Ghana can protect its biodiversity and promote sustainable development.

One of the seven benefits after the cross is the restoration of surface mining sites and water bodies affected by illegal mining (galamsey). In line with this, Goldstar Air proposes a two-year total ban on surface mining in Ghana, as the airline recognizes the long-term dangers posed by galamsey. The airline intends to utilize the Easter period each year to support the restoration of devastated sites. Furthermore, it plans to access the World Bank’s Green Revolution Fund to compensate mining companies, offering an alternative and sustainable solution.

During the Easter holidays, the airline will mobilize passengers and well-meaning Ghanaians to join forces in restoring illegal mining sites (galamsey) for industrial organic farming, creating well-paying job opportunities for the Ghanaian youth formerly involved in galamsey. Additionally, Goldstar Air will engage in tree planting along water bodies, leveraging the natural ability of these trees to absorb desdly minerals from the soil. Over the proposed two-year ban, these efforts will revitalize the water bodies, restoring them to their natural state with clean, fresh water.

This ambitious project aligns with the teachings of Jesus Christ and symbolizes one of the seven benefits of redemption for Ghana, the airline’s hub. By working together, we can create a sustainable future where economic growth and environmental conservation coexist in harmony. With a proposal of $500 million from the Green Revolution Fund, the airline will collaborate with mining companies in the restoration of affected mining sites and also create over 10,000 jobs in organic farming and tree planting, rejuvenating 500 kilometers of water bodies, and ultimately benefiting more than one million Ghanaians.

The annual ‘Adjaben’ package nature will ensure consistency, allowing communities, churches, businesses, and government agencies to plan long-term initiatives around the Easter season. As Ghana becomes a major spiritual and cultural destination during this time, it will boost the local economies, increase foreign exchange inflows, and enhance the country’s global image. Every Easter experience will conclude with a “Thanksgiving Gala,” where testimonies are shared, lives are celebrated, and pledges are made to continue making a difference in the coming year.
