Award-winning Ghanaian musician King Promise has expressed strong optimism about clinching the prestigious Artiste of the Year award at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
The “Terminator” hitmaker finds himself in a tough contest alongside Black Sherif, King Paluta, Team Eternity, Joe Mettle, Stonebwoy, and Kwaku Smoke, all vying for the industry’s top honor.
Having narrowly missed out on the title last year to Stonebwoy, King Promise is determined to make a stronger impact this time.
During his recent performance at businessman Richard Nii Quaye’s 40th birthday celebration, he confidently declared himself “your incoming Artiste of the Year”, hinting at his unwavering belief in his chances.
Backing his claim, the singer emphasized the effort he has put into his craft over the past year, asserting, “No one has worked harder than I.” According to him, his consistency, chart-topping songs, and dominance on streaming platforms are clear indicators that he deserves the award.
With anticipation building for the TGMA, fans and music lovers are eager to see if King Promise’s confidence will translate into a well-deserved win.
