Bad Boys’ Are the Ones Who Approach Us – Gloria Sarfo on Why Actresses Struggle to Find Partners

Ghanaian actress Gloria Sarfo recently shared her thoughts on the struggles actresses face in finding suitable partners,

speaking candidly during an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM. Sarfo revealed that while many actresses desire marriage, they often encounter a particular type of man who isn’t ideal for a stable relationship.

“In as much as we (actresses) want to marry, the men who are bold enough to approach us are often the ‘bad boys,’” she said. “The men who would be ready to go all out for us and treat us like queens – we don’t see them, and we don’t like them.”

Gloria Sarfo added that when actresses find genuine love, they cherish it and may choose to keep their relationships private. “So, if we are able to get someone and are not blinded and see that they love us, we adore them and hide them to ensure that the relationship grows,” she explained.

This sentiment follows a recent comment from fellow actress Martha Ankomah, who expressed her readiness to settle down.

Martha Ankomah, a popular figure in the Ghanaian film industry, noted that she would be delighted to find a life partner and start a family, stating her hopes for marriage and children.

The reflections of Sarfo and Ankomah bring to light the unique personal challenges faced by women in the entertainment industry.
