“We at Zylofon Cash are honored for the opportunity to contribute our widow’s mite to support this important journey and to demonstrate our support for the great job SAGE Ghana is doing in mentoring young teenagers into promising entrepreneurs. We are proud to associate with such greatness that is surely geared at making Ghana prosper”, the National Coordinator of Zylofon Cash, Gabriel Kwabla Kwamiga, noted while handing the donation amount over to officials of SAGE Ghana at a brief ceremony in Accra Thursday morning.

Methodist Girls’ SHS and Aduman SHS would be flying Ghana’s flag at the international competition which would involve some 86 winning schools selected from 43 countries across the globe.

SAGE is an acronym which stands for Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship.  The team is a global network of teenage entrepreneurs with  a common purpose to make the world a better place.

“Our mission is to create the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders whose innovations and social enterprises address some of the world’s most urgent problems”, a statement from SAGE Global noted.

The statement continued: “Our youth entrepreneurship program bridges two divides. The first divide is among secondary education, higher education and the private sector. The second divide is across countries, one that prevents international cooperation at a time when such cooperation is crucial.

“Global challenges, such as environmental sustainability, alternative energy and transportation, and problems caused by global climate change, pose common threats.”
