Sonnie Badu awarded with gold plaque by Samira Bawumia

Ghanaian gospel artiste Sonnie Badu has been honoured with a Doctorate in Divinity by Second Lady Samira Bawumia.

The UK-based musician was deemed fit for the award following his far-reaching works in the country and on the continent.

Sonnie Badu has reportedly been in talks with the Second Lady over how best to develop and empower the youth in the country.

He currently owns a foundation that caters for the needy and helps people reach their full potential in their various fields.

The multiple award-winning gospel artiste was invited by Samira Bawumia and honoured with a Doctorate in Divinity for his progressive works.

He was subsequently presented with a gold plaque by the Second Lady.
