Serious musicians do not quit – Tinny

Ghanaian Hiplife artist Tinny believes that real musicians do not quit the craft.

According to him, music is a passion-driven craft that keeps the individual going, therefore, anyone thinking of quitting it probably never had the passion.

“I never get the thought of quitting. Every day I am singing. If I am not singing out loud, I am just doing that within me. It’s my talent. I always say that when I hear a musician say they are retired, I don’t think they’re really serious because if you’re a musician, you can’t stop doing music,” he said.

Speaking on Y FM last week the ‘Aletse’ rapper disclosed that he has recorded several singles and collaborations which are yet to be released.

The ‘father’ of Ga rap is one of Ghana’s hailed musicians known to be a pioneer in the genesis of the Hiplife genre.

He is best known for hit songs like Anaconda, Makola Kwakwe, Ringtone, and others.
