“Overdose” is a lifestory-Swag Nation
Ghanaian musical duo, Swag Nation have told a real love story in their latest song christened,“Overdose.”.
 
The group made up of Alex Osei Bonsu, affectionately called, Maxi Sway and Richard Asamoah, known in showbiz as, Shifu King, last year released their maiden single “Lousika” to introduce a new movement christened, AfroChinese.
 
According to the lead singer, Maxi Sway, the message in the song throws light on his about his own life story.
 
He has revealed that after years of looking for love in Ghana and excruciating pain of break ups,he gave up on love as a result of the frustration he went through.
 
“One early moring my best fiend visited and advised me to try online dating that is where I met a white German lady called Alexandra,” he said.
 
Maxi Sway further revealed that Alexandra had since then shown him what real love was and it changed his life.
 
“This German lady made me understand what unconditional love is and she changed my life with an overdose of love and she gave me everything,” he said.
 
He said that after breaking the story to Shifu King, a member of Swag Nation, they decided to put this into a song, hence “Overdose”.
 
The song which was produced by Julius Fakta, with video featuring Juan of Daterush fame, directed and shot by Kwabena Ballo of Ballo Films is available on all digital music stores.
