Stella Aba Seal, a veteran gospel musician has slammed “little” Obaapa Christy for allegedly disrespecting her in response to their recent verbal squabble.
The two made headlines few weeks ago after Stella Seal complained about being included on Obaapa Christy’s 20th-anniversary banner without her knowledge.
On Accra-based Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, the “Wagye me” hitmaker apologized to her senior colleague for not informing her sooner.
She went on to explain her reason, saying that she simply wanted to honour and project Stella Seal.
“I had plans of honouring some veteran musicians. It was never to only bring them for performances but it was just an oversight as I had already reached out to the majority of the male musicians who had already agreed to these plans,” she explained.
However, the part where Obaapa Christy mentioned honouring and projecting Stella Seal enraged the already irritated Stella Seal the most.
On the Accra-based Neat FM, the gospel veteran fumed “she is a kid. She didn’t get proper training and upbringing. I need to discipline her. What the hell? How can you celebrate your veterans and be this rude and disrespectful?”
She adds “if you are going to buy a ticket because of me and Tagoe Sisters, don’t go. She needs to apologize properly and do the needful.”
