MUSIGA President speaks at Music Unions Capacity Building Workshop in Kenya

Musiga President Bice Osei Kuffour AKA Obour was in Kenya on the invitation of the International Federation of Musicians(FIM) as a resource person for a 5 Day Capacity Building Workshop for Music Unions in Africa which took in Nairobi, Kenya.

The workshop which was sponsored by FIM and Union to Union of Sweden was attended by the executive of Kenya Music Union(KEMU) and other music industry leaders in East Africa.

Speaking at the workshop, Bice Osei Kuffour shared some experiences and strategies of how Musiga maintains their relationship with Government, their growth strategies, membership services and how they are mainstreaming Gender equality in Musiga’s operations.

Other resource person’s who spoke at the Workshop were Thomas Dayan- Assistant General Secretary of FIM and Emre Sorkun- Special Projects Head of Swedish Musicians Federation (SMF)
