MultiChoice Warns Against Commercial Piracy (Video)

MultiChoice,Ghana’s leading provider of premium pay entertainment, has called on individuals and entities that use DStv services for public use without a commercial licence to get a commercial licence to enable them broadcast DStv content without litigation.

As part of effort to curb the rising level of commercial piracy of Pay TV signals, MultiChoice continues to excite its customers in Ghana as it introduces another mouth watering package for its commercial subscribers.

Giving the reason for such an interesting package, the Head of Public Relations and Corporate Affairs Nii Armah Dagadu told Biztechafrica that ‘Multichoice Ghana’s priority is putting customers at the heart of our business and are very excited to announce a new package for our commercial subscribers’.

According to him MultiChoice believes that the new introduced package will offer the best value at an affordable rate to ensure hotels, pubs and clubs no matter their size enhance their entertainment options.

Speaking at the event launch in Accra, the General Manager of MultiChoice Ghana, Cecil Sunkwa Mills reiterated Multichoice’s commitment to its promise of making great content available to all our subscribers, hence the introduction of the new DStv Business Lite package for commercial subscribers.

“We have listened to their specific feedback and tailored this new offering to meet their varied needs,” he stated.
Mr. Sunkwa Mills stressed with emphasis that his outfit has remodeled it business and adjusted pricing and content to best suit the varied lifestyle of its subscribers with a major boost in entertainment options across all DStv and GOtv packages, demonstrating MultiChoice Ghana’s commitment to ensuring that customers receive the best possible entertainment and outstanding value all the time.

Throwing more light on the DStv Business Lite package, Kennedy Dankyi-Appah, Commercial Sales Manager, MultiChoice Ghana, said, “this new package is targeted at medium to low end Hotels, guest houses, lodges who are looking at offering great entertainment to their clientele at an affordable rate”. He explains that “besides the basic offer commercial subscribers can customise the package by selecting their preferred channels at an additional cost.”
