MTN Hitmaker ends Audition; selects 22 finalists (Video)

Auditioning for the 2018 edition of the MTN Hitmaker has ended with twenty-two applicants making it to the ‘Bootcamp’ out of over three-thousand applicants.

The MTN Hitmaker which is an initiative by Ghana’s telecommunication giants MTN has been unearthing great music talents since its inception seven years ago.

The producer of the show, Nii Ayitey Hammond, revealed to attractivemustapha.com that the twenty-two contestants will be accommodated at the Bootcamp where they will receive professional grooming by a technical team made up of voice coaches, choreographers, music directors, image stylists and many more.

“There will be a voice coach, and a music director who will take them through series of training and task after which the best twelve will be chosen for the main show to begin the show on live television” He added.

MTN Hitmaker has been running consistently since its inception in 2012. The show has produced some of the industry’s top-notch musicians including Koo Ntakra, Togbe, Kuami Eugene, KiDi, Kurl Songx and Freda Rhyme.
