Miss Grand Prix United Nations supports 14-year-old boy through an umbilical hernia surgery

Miss Grand Prix United Nations, Harriet Lamptey has raised funds for a 14 years old boy Akwesi Addo in Prestea who has Umbilical Hernia and has undergone successful surgery.

According to Harriet Lamptey, Akwesi Addo was identified through a friend in the Western ] Region, and because of her love for children, Harriet Lamptey decided to use her HertieCare Foundation to raise funds for him.

The successful surgery was done in Tarwa Municipal hospital by a lead doctor whose name was given only as Dr Sarpong.

In a chat with Harriet Lamptey, she told Ghanaian Journalist Attractive Mustapha Nii Okai Inusah that though she was confident and hopeful that the surgery will be successful she had to speak to the Doctor for maximum assurance.

She promised to set up a business for the boy’s father to assist in providing for the subsequent needs of the family and the boy.
