The maiden edition of Ghana Music Awards France was successfully launched on 12th March 2022 at Toulouse in France.
The event was attended by Ghanaians, Nigerians and other African nationals who admitted that they love Ghana music.
Ghana Music Awards France is a project that seeks to award Ghanaian entertainers in France and at home.
The event was climaxed with outstanding performances from Gospel Minstrel Ohemaa Mercy, the legendary Pat Thomas and multiple award winning musician and song writer Akwaboah.
The event was produced by Dogbey Godwin and
Nana Poku Ashis with popular gospel musician Alice McKenzie as the MC for the night.
Celebrated Ghanaian media personality Abeiku Santana chaired the programme doubled as the director for the show with support from Fadda Dickson and Despite Media.
Speaking at the launch , captured by Blogger Attractive Mustapha,Abeiku Santana said “It is a great opportunity for me to serve as the chairman of this award scheme , I shall dedicate myself to the ideals of Ghana Music Awards France by way of uniting and rewarding Ghanaian musicians and every stakeholder who hasn’t been recognized and appreciated enough”
He continued that,The world has become a global village and we have to make good use of networks and associations to promote Ghana .
The event was organized and funded by Mr Kwabena Frimpong and Mrs Mavis Osaah Frimpong.
