Kwaku Manu replies Razak Brimah

Ghanaian actor and comedian, Kwaku Manu has responded to goalkeeper Razak Brimah’s abusive social media comments which has angered Ghanaians.

Manu in an audio message on social media platform, Whatsapp expressed disappointment in the goalkeeper’s insulting comments and warned him against the act.

He began by calling the goalkeeper “Keeper Spider” and added the following paraphrased comments:

“What has come over you? Are you the only person to be insulted in the Black Stars and what did you gain with your response? What mistake have you done? Ghanaians have lost interest in the Black Stars and gradually the interest in coming back. I prayed that the Black Stars could win the Africa Cup of Nations and bring the trophy home for peace to reign. But for you to use suck ‘F’ and other words on Ghanaians is not the best. Many have played for the Black Stars in the past including Abedi Pele and the likes. What would the likes of Asamoah Gyan, Dede Ayew and Sulley Muntari have done? It took the intervention of former President John Kufuor to advice Asamoah to stay in the Black Stars after he was insulted by Ghanaians. I have never seen Gyan insult any Ghanaian before no matter what was done to him. Which player has done what you have done? Now all Ghanaians are praying that you lose your next game and come home and that’s when you will face the wrath of Ghanaians. The national team call-up does a lot to your career. There are many goalkeepers in Ghana even at the local scene. So, if you have the opportunity to be in the national team, those s**t and other words won’t help you. Be very careful. Am so disturbed and shocked by your comments. I can’t believe it. Am disgraced and down. Don’t do that again. Be careful with Ghanaians. You should come out and apologize again. I was even insulted but never responded.”
He also urged Ghanaians to forgive him adding that his comments would not let the Black Stars lose the game against Cameroon. He predicted that Ghana would win 2-0.
