Highlife musician George Adu, popularly known as Kwabena Kwabena, successfully launched his fifth album, ‘Ahyesi’ at the +233 Jazz Bar on November, 30.

Prior to the successful launch, however, eyewitnesses say the musician’s ex-wife, Lydia Appenteng, who others refer to as Abena Owusua Dwamena, stormed the venue to subpoena her ex in the company of police officials.

According to sources, Abena Owusua claims all efforts to serve the highlife musician has proved futile hence her last resort was to show up at the album launch.

This notwithstanding, Kwabena Kwabena and team weathered the storm and pulled an impressive launch.

Budding star Asantewaa, Manifest, Ofori Amponsah took turns to thrill patrons at the event.

Santana and actress Nana Ama McBrown who spearheaded the ceremony also gave it a pinch of humour.
A representative from the United Nation Youth Television, Kennedy Katey conferred an ambassadorial role on Kwabena Kwabena on behalf of organisation.
