KOJO-HILTON TO COLLABORATE WITH NAFTI ON THE VASEP INITIATIVE

The Rector of National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI), Dr. Samuel Nai has reiterated the institute’s desire to collaborate with professionals in the creative industry to standardize creative works.
He hopes the move will enhance the creative image of the country.

He made the comments when a Visual Artist and Production Designer, Prince Kojo Hilton paid a courtesy call on him at NAFTI to present awards he recently won and discuss pending projects and initiatives.

Hilton is a a product of NAFTI’s 2014 Certificate Programme batch and graduated as a Production Designer.

During the recently held ERM 40 under 40 2019 Awards, he won the honor for the Theatre and Arts Category. He had also won the World Icon of Peace Award, Pan Africa Eminence Award 2016 – GLOBAL as well as the Pan-African Art Director / Production Designer of the Year.

“As a beneficiary of this institution, I owe a lot of my accomplishments to the training I had whilst at NAFTI and winning the awards testifies to that fact”, an obviously elated Hilton told the Rector.

Dr. Samuel Nai congratulated him for the honour and hoped his achievements will inspire others on the field.
Dr. Nai encouraged him to come and impact on continuing students of NAFTI as well so that through his story and achievements they would also be ignited to do much more whilst they are at school.

There was also a discussion to involve Kojo Hilton as part of NAFTI’s outreach programme to various second cycle institutions.
