King Ayisoba hosts Batakari Night on February 3

King Ayisoba will host this year’s edition of the ‘Batakari Night’ at the Alliance Française in Accra on Saturday, February 3.

Aimed at promoting the northern Ghanaian smock, also known as ‘fugu’, the concert will also feature an exhibition and sale of ‘Batakari’ and other traditional items from northern Ghana.

King Ayisoba, who is also known as the King of Kologo Music, has promised to make this year’s edition of the event better and exciting.

The ‘I Want To See You My Father’ artiste disclosed that some selected renowned Ghanaian and international artistes have been invited to perform at the event.

Some of the artistes billed to perform at the event are Kwaw Kese, Ponobiom, Wiyaala, Atongo Simbad all from Ghana, Kravali from Austria, African Head Charge from Jamaica, Joan from Holland, Bego Star, Olonguazi, among others.

The ‘Batakari Night’ is an initiative of King Ayisoba and Pidgin Music, and it is supported by Alliance Française-Accra.
