Jackie Appiah adopted as a member of the Manya Krobo Traditional Council (Pictures + Video)

Respected Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah has been adopted by the Manya-Krobo Traditional Council in the greater Accra region of Ghana as a member of its traditional council.

The announcement was made by the spokesperson of the Traditional Council at a public ceremony to commemorate the actress’s birthday in Krobo-Odumase, the capital of the Manya-Krobo District.

The colourful ceremony was organised at Odumase, the Municipal capital where she donated several items ranging from food stuffs, assorted drinks, mineral water, mattresses, fabric etc.

The beneficiaries were drawn from over five Electoral areas in the Municipality.

Jackie Appiah had the opportunity to pay a courtesy call on Nene Sackite II, Konor of Manya Klo Traditional Area at his Royal Palace after the donation.

In an interview with Nii Attractive (Mustapha Nii Okai Inusah) Ghanacreativearts.com, Jackie Appiah said she appreciates the honor bestowed on her by the Queen mother’s and Sackite II, Konor of Manya Klo Traditional Area and the people of Manya-Krobo.

Jackie Appiah also expressed gratitude towards her fans across Ghana and internationally for their support and love over the years.
