KEY TEXT:“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
Jeremiah 32:27 NIV

Today’s key verse, borders on something I believe is important to God ,that is for you and i as his children to have complete trust in him, his word and his promise to us.

Numbers 23:19 says  “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

God is asking us this morning if there’s anything too hard or difficult for him to do because he sees that the health challenges, financial difficulties, work stress, family disappointments and so many other life’s pain and situations you might be going through that has slowly punctured your faith and filled it with fear and doubt.

The Bible reminds us again of this question in Genesis 18:14 and it is good to know that even the saints of old who had physical angelic visitations had doubts about God’s promise to them sometimes and they had to be reminded by God that there’s nothing too hard for Him, Yahweh to do.
“Is anything too difficult or too wonderful for the [Yahweh] Lord? At the appointed time, when the season [for her delivery] comes, I will return to you and Sarah will have a son”.
When He told Sarah, Abraham’s wife who was past childbearing age that she was going to give birth to her son and declared to her that she was a mother of nations,they had doubts.

Sarah and even her husband couldn’t comprehend this statement (Genesis 17:17) that God had spoken to her because she knew that medically, logically and even by nature with the way God had set the biological makeup of a woman, it was to the human mind impossible for her to give birth.

However, what Sarah failed to remember at that point is that Jehovah, the God of all flesh, the creator of mankind, the sovereign God, the ruler of all things, the God who controls the affairs of men and created the heavens and the earth  was the one declaring a promise and a truth to her regardless of her barren situation.

Whatever comes out of God’s mouth is the truth because he is not a man that he should lie (Numbers 23:19 ) .Whatever he speaks becomes a reality.
Beloved, as you go about your daily business and activities today, take time to reflect on today’s key verse and as God spoke to Jeremiah asking him this very important question,so is He also asking you and I today.”Is there anything too difficult, or too hard that Him to do”?
Be encouraged this morning by God’s word to you and believe in the credibility of God because He always makes good his word if he has promised you.

And just so you know that God makes good  His promises, in exactly a year after God promised Sarah, she became the mother of Isaac and through him, she became the mother of nations (Genesis 21:2) Hallelujah!

Remember, it is IMPOSSIBLE for God to make a promise and not bring it to fulfillment!
