I Lost Interest In Doing Music – Good Old Hiplife Musician Kokorveli (Video)

Hiplife artiste, Kokoveli, who has been away for about 10 years now has disclosed that he decided not to do music again because he lost interest in the profession.

He said years back, though the system and things were working properly within the music industry, it was just limited to Ghanaians.

“When you do music it was just limited to the Ghanaian communities both in Ghana and outside Ghana and it was just the same thing over and over again so I lost interest in doing it” he hinted in an exclusive interview with editor of Ghanacreativearts.com , Nii Attractive (Mustapha Nii Okai Inusah).

According to him, he’s coming back because things have changed – unlike years back. “Now the Ghanaian music industry is growing and it’s not just performing in Ghanaian communities or doing music for only Ghanaians. These days, when you do music it travels far and goes far” he said.

As to whether he can stand the competition in the music industry now, he said he does not see any competition in the music industry. Kokoveli currently has one hit song titled “Kill me again” featuring multiple award winning dancehall act, Shatta Wale, which is making waves already.
