Hearts of Oak stun Kotoko 1-0 at home

The Phobians came up tops in Sunday’s rivalry fixture between Ghana’s two biggest clubs, thanks to a solitary goal by the Ghana ‘B’ winger

A second half Patrick Razak goal was the separating factor as Hearts of Oak sealed a famous away win over nemesis Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The attacker’s 65th minute effort at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi has lifted the Phobians to 10th on the table, tied on points with the Porcupine Warriors.

The strike has also taken the Accra-based side’s winning tally over their arch-rivals to 36 in 107 league matches since 1958. Kotoko stay on 33 victories, with 38 matches ending in stalemates.
