Gov’t Launches Agya Koo TV (Pictures +Videos)

The Government of Ghana through the Ministry for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts in partnership with 2C digital media has successfully launched the Agya Koo TV.

During the launch which took place at the Accra Mall on febuary 4th, the Minister for Tourism who represented Government together with Agya Koo asked the public to support and continuously pray for people in the Creative Arts Industry and also promote Agya Koo’s TV App to work and make this initiative successful.

According to Hon Catherine Afeku the platforms are part of the Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo administration’s efforts to promote local content.

She added , “we are in the business of placing Ghanaian content at the disposal of viewers worldwide and the artistes are signed on to produce popular content, including already existing content, that will run as a series in the name of the artistes and it is already showing on most of the mobile phones.”

In a seperate chat with AttractiveMustapha.com , She said her Ministry will support the private sector to launch and operate the channel for as many artistes as possible.
