God’s time is the best – Patapaa speaks after VGMA loss

Rising Ghanaian musician, Patapaa Amisty, has finally broken his silence after failing to grab an award at the 19th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Patapaa, who was also trolled for his outfit at the awards ceremony, took to Twitter, a social media platform to communicate with his fans.

According to a report by MyNewsGH.com, he wrote: “I leave it all to God; His time is best.”

Prior to the event, he is reported to expressed his optimism about winning an award for the ‘Most Popular Song of The Year’ category.

Speaking to Happy FM, he said that “My ‘One Corner’ hit track will win the Most Popular Song of The Year at the 2018 VGMAs.” To the surprise of a cross-section of Ghanaians, Fancy Gaddam’s ‘Total Cheat’, which featured Sarkodie, claimed the coveted prize.

Patapaa who hails from Agona Swedru in the Central Region, rose to fame in the year 2017 with his song ‘One Corner.’ The song which became popular and spread like wildfire throughout the country and beyond.
