Known for hyper-realistic pencil drawings, Theo Pencil has completed an amazing drawing of the Sultan of Brunei – which is already going viral on social media.

It is Theo’s wildest wish to meet the Sultan of Brunei, do an official presentation, hob-nob with him, and to have his blessings. “I take a lot of inspiration from the Sultan of Brunei. I never go to You Tube without watching something on him. That is how come he sunk into my sub-conscious mind. He inspires me to think out of the box. I will be the happiest to meet him” Theo Pencil said.

Sultan of Brunei – real name, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, is the 29th and current Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei. He is also the first and incumbent Prime Minister of Brunei.

The eldest son of Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien III and Raja Isteri (Queen) Pengiran Anak Damit, he succeeded to the throne as the Sultan of Brunei, following the abdication of his father on 5 October 1967.

The Sultan has been ranked among the wealthiest individuals in the world; Forbes estimated the Sultan’s total peak net worth at US$20 billion in 2008. Following the death of Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej in 2016, the Sultan is the wealthiest monarch in the world.

On 5 October 2017, The Sultan celebrated his Golden Jubilee to mark the 50th year of his reign on the Throne.

Theo Pencil also filmed the drawing stages of the drawing and wishes to telecast it to the Sultan of Brunei – plus draw another picture that is very dear to the heart of Sultan of Brunei, should the King ask him to.

PROFILE – Theo Pencil

Theo Pencil is a young talented Ghanaian Hyper-Realistic Artist born on the 5th day of May, 1993 and lives in Accra, Ghana. With no formal education in art work, his works have been viewed across the world with amazement and wonder.

The realism of his drawings have captivated many people. His real name is Theophilus Boateng Kwaku Sarpong but was given the name Theo Pencil by his friends because of the magic he performs with just a pencil.

He discovered his talent as an artist at the age of eight when he used to draw cartoons just for fun. Theo Pencil advanced as a hyper-realistic pencil artist at the early ages of seventeen. His area of specialization in the arts industry is mostly works on human figures.

He is good in color works but most of his master pieces are in pencil which inspires him a lot. At the age of 21, Theo Pencil had made realistic pencil portraits of some famous personalities including: Kofi Annan – Former United Nations Secretary General, Nelson Mandela – Former South African President, Niki Minaj – A popular American Music Artist.
