Ghana Music Awards South Africa cancelled due to ongoing Xenophobic attacks

Information gathered by Ghanacreativearts.com indicates that this year’s edition Ghana Music Awards South Africa has been cancelled due to the recent Xenophobic attacks in the country.

Our sources say even though nominations were opened somewhere last month, it is unclear whether the organizers will continue with it at a later date since some artistes have filed already.

Horrible videos of black people alleged to be mostly Nigerians have been sighted on the internet as Xenophobic attacks by South African citizens to foreigners.

The previous edition of Ghana Music Awards South Africa saw Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Article Wan Sweeping awards for various categories.
