Ghana Association of Writers to hold Book Festival on Founder’s Day

Ghana Association of Writers (GAW) is set to hold Book Festival on September 21, 2017, 8am – 7pm at PAWA House in Accra.

The event which is on the theme “Empowering Ghana Through Reading” will be chaired by Prof. Kwesi Opoku-Amankwa, Director General of Ghana Education Services with keynote address delivered by Dr. Koryoe Anim-Wright, President of AUCC.

The festival, dubbed GAWBOFEST 2017, is opened to the public free of charge; and will be an opportunity for participants to enjoy book reading, poetry slam, storytelling, balloon craft, face painting for children, spelling bee, quiz, writing workshops among others.

On Founder’s Day, 21st September, 2017 all roads lead to Ghana Association Writers’ mega Founder’s Day celebration at PAWA HOUSE, with a book festival.

Venue: Just around Accra Girls, after former Choice FM traffic light, then take your right, then immediate right. It shares the same road with Class FM.

Live band music and sound system.
From: 8am to 7pm
Children are also welcome
