Free SHS ambassador Visits Thomas Amoani: Student with Perfect Score in WASSCE

Despite the challenges faced as all new projects would have, the FREE SHS POLICY has proven to be of positive impact in the lives of those who would have had it difficult with the financial burden secondary education would have come with.

Today we made a trip to Upper west akyim where we donated books to Adeisu-Presby; school of Thomas Amoani; a bright student with a perfect score in his final exams. Despite his challenges in life, he stuck with his desire to pursue his education and his effort was noticed and rewarded by the president of the Republic of Ghana His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo. An event was organized for the gentleman and this occasion was graced by the Registrar of Scholarships; Hon, Kinsley Kwame Agyeman, the representative for Ghanaian education in the U.K; Efua Gaisie, the DCE; hon.Eugene Sackey, the parliamentary candidate; Frederick Obeng, former MCE of Taine district; Farizana Bintu as well as the elders of the land. Plans are being put into place to help the the gentleman further his education in the U.K. All expenses covered for.

Those who take advantage and make good use of plans put in place by the government will reap the benefits. I hope we are all motivated by the poise shown in this story and I hope it encourages us to do more. Let’s all come together and make this an even bigger success. I’d like to say a big thank you to Bandex Bakery for sponsoring our books.
Thank you
-Free SHS Ambassador
