Freddie Blay Urges “Entertainment Industry Players” to Engage Govt for More Support (Video)

Acting New Patriotic Party National Chairman Freddie Blay has urged leadership of the Entertainment Industry to continuously engage Government for more support to improve the Entertainment and Creative Arts Industry in general.

Speaking in an interview with AttractiveMustapha.com after a press soiree organized by the Musicians Union of Ghana, Hon Freddie Blay stated that entertainment everywhere in the world is private sector led but the ruling New Patriotic Party government is willing to support the industry.

“Government will not take over the entertainment industry but industry players must engage government for more to support to improve their activities and make things better for the improvement of the industry.
Entertainment everywhere in the world is private sector led but we the NPP and government are willing to assist”.

He further explained that monies given to entertainers by government is not a dole-out but rather to motivate and assist them to work harder for higher profits which will in effect benefit the entire Nation.
