Michael Owusu Addo, better known as Sarkodie, the most decorated African and Ghanaian rapper has heaped praise on the legendary highlife singer, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, also known as Daddy Lumba.
Sarkodie praised the legendary Daddy Lumba’s inventiveness noting that his songs are always on point even when he didn’t plan it.
Speaking on Accra-based Asempa FM News, Sarkodie suggested Daddy Lumba’s enormous contributions to the Ghanaian music industry must be celebrated.
“Lumba is always Lumba. Let him cough into a microphone and it will be a different thing else. He is a great musician and we need to adore him,” Sarkodie shared.
After over three decades in the Ghanaian music industry, Mr. Charles Kwadwo Fosu has been very outstanding, with several hit songs.
He has been honoured with several awards for his style of music, which makes him arguably the greatest of all time.
He has released over 30 albums, some of which are Aben Woha, Poison, Yereye Aka Akwantuo Mu, Sika Asem and over 200 songs, which also include, Ankwanoma, Ebi Se Eye Aduro, Theresa, Obi Ato Meso Bo, Ye ne wo sere kwa and several others.
