Having treated fans to exceptional hit singles over the past year, fast-rising and most talked-about female Dancehall/ Afrobeats artiste, Ebony has finally held the corporate launch for her maiden album ‘Bonyfied’.

The event held at poolside section of the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra was a full live-band moment as Ebony, real name Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng treated attendees to a wide range of her hit songs such as ‘Poison’, ‘Kupe’, ‘Sponsor’, and ‘Date Ur Fada’.

The event which was scheduled to start around 7 in the evening took close to an hour and half to commence officially as some upcoming artistes were allowed to perform prior to the real show. In Spite of this, the event still turned out to be a great one with fans, lovers, relatives and sponsors of the ‘Sponsor’ hit-maker thrilled to the core.

The MC, Trigmatic also gave a short performance of some of his hit songs before the ’90s Bad girl’ took the mic. There were some heartfelt speeches from sponsors, friends and management of the artiste who were visibly proud to be associated with the sensational singer.

Sponsors reiterated that they were “proud to support” the ‘90s bad girl’ because they believed in her talent and brand.

On the other hand close pal of Ebony, Abeiku Santana, disclosed the 20-year-old singer would take Africa by storm while her manager Bullet said “she has been a blessing to me” and “I love her very much.”

When it was Ebony’s turn to express her excitement about the album, she said it felt ”as if it was my birthday”.
Ebony who seemed to be in a haste to entertain patrons quickly move closer to the live band and started performing her ‘Sponsor’, ‘Kupe’, etc coupled with some sensual dance moves, as expected.

Recorded in Accra over the past 12 months, Ebony mentioned her favourite of the bunch to be ‘Real’ written by herself.

Artistes present on the night to support the singer are Kaakie, Efya and Kurl Songx of ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ fame.

The well-attended launch saw several artistes and industry players such as Efya, Captain Planet, KOD, Kaaki, Lexis Bill, Giovanni, among others.

The main album launch would happen during the maiden edition of Ebony’s ‘Soloku Bonyfied Concert’ to be held at the forecourt of the Westhills mall, off the Accra- Kasoa road on Saturday, December 9, 2017. The event would host the likes of Sarkodie, Mzvee,Samini, Kuami Eugene,Kidi, King Promise, AK Songstress, Kurl Songx, Brella, Danny Beatz and Bosheba among others.

Admission to the event was absolutely free of charge and starts at 6PM sharp!
