Ghanaian actor, Kwaku Manu has insinuated that Derick Kobina Bonney popularly known as DKB is not a good comedian.

Speaking on Ghanaian comedy, Kwaku Manu said that there are many out there who can do much better in the field of comedy than the ones who have been discovered.

He expressed worry about the fact that there is no clear plan to unearth such talents making the comedy industry one way style with people like DKB.

Kwaku Manu’s concerns come as a follow up to statements made by Former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings that DKB is too boring. It will be recalled that Nana Konadu walked out of the International Conference Centre recently whilst DKB was on stage.

In an interview with Ghanacreativearts.com, Kumawood screen icon who is attributed with popular funny phrases such as “am love you”, am kiss you said the situation is unfortunate and therefore pleads with industry players to put up more programmes that will give opportunity to young and talented people in Ghana’s comedy Industry.
