Countries Reopening Their Borders For Tourism: The Complete List

With lockdowns ending around the world, many countries have started to ease border restrictions and reopen for international tourists.
Here’s the complete list of countries that are reopening for tourism.

Information is changing at a rapid pace so be sure to check back often to find out what is going on in your favorite travel destination!

*The reopening of tourism activities is dependent on the approval of each country’s government and could be reversed at anytime. Be sure to check with local and federal authorities before traveling. Albania reopened borders for international tourism on July 1, 2020.

All nations welcome. At this time there are only temperature checks at the airport. No tests. No quarantines.

Albania is a great new option for travelers who need a country to meet up in with no restrictions.

Andorra has officially reopened borders for international tourism, and as of July 29, is now allowing all nations to visit, but with different entry requirements based on residency.

All nations welcome. EU+ nations will be permitted to enter without a quarantine, and all other nations are permitted entry, but with a mandatory 15-day quarantine.

Anguilla has announced it will reopen its borders for international tourism starting on August 21, 2020.

Under strict protocols, Anguilla will require visitors to get online approval with a PCR test before they arrive and as well quarantine at their accommodations for 10 days upon arrival.

The same day, the island welcomed its first international flight since the island shut its borders due to the outbreak. Testing is done upon arrival.

Armenia

Armenia has reopened borders for international tourism on August 12.

They’re accepting tourists from all nations, making Armenia a great option for many bi-national couples currently separated by travel bans.

Armenia is requiring a 14-day quarantine from tourists BUT there’s an option to shorten/remove the quarantine if they schedule a PCR test in their hotel/rental. If the test comes back negative, the tourists can leave quarantine and enjoy free movement during their stay in Armenia.

On June 11th, the Government of Aruba announced the official reopening of the borders for international travel for different countries between June 15 and July 10, 2020.

Between those dates, Aruba will open their borders for countries like: Canada, USA, and European and Caribbean nations.

the Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A) and the Department of Public Health announced the ‘Aruba Health & Happiness Code,‘ a stringent cleaning and hygiene certification program that will be mandatory for all tourism related businesses across the country.

Vienna Austria, now reopen to EU tourists

Austria has officially reopened its borders to for tourism on June 16, 2020.

The first 31 countries that have authorization to travel to Austria include all of the European Union nations, with the exception of UK, Sweden, Spain and Portugal.

Visitors from the approved EU countries can visit Austria without a quarantine period or testing.

The Bahamas is officially reopening for tourism on July 1st, 2020.

They will be accepting tourists from all countries but a mandatory 14 day quarantine AND a PCR test has now been implemented.

Barbados officially reopens for tourism on July 1, 2020, allowing tourists from all countries and nations to visit.

While all nations are welcome to visit the island nation of Barbados starting in July, there are different entry requirements depending on where the travelers are coming from.

Bali (Indonesia)

The reopening of Bali to foreign tourists could be delayed until the end of 2020

Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Panjaitan has stated that the reopening of Bali could be delayed until the end of 2020.

Originally, the Governor of Bali announced that the island would officially be reopening its borders for international tourism on September 11th, 2020.

Blarus has reopened for international tourism as of July 15.

Covid-related entry requirements include: having travel health insurance and a ‘recommended’ 48 hour PCR test.

Many countries can visit, including the USA, Canada and UK.

The airport was originally scheduled to reopen on August 15th for international travel. However, on August 5th the prime minister of Belize announced that the reopening would be delayed until further notice. No new date has been set. If this affects your travel, we recommend contacting your hotel and airline.

On June 15, 2020 Belgium officially reopened its borders to tourists, first allowing select countries to visit.

From June 15, following all other major EU countries, Belgium made the decision to reopen for tourism from countries in the European Union, including the UK, and the four EFTA nations (Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway.)

Bermuda is reopening for tourism on July 1st and will be accepting tourists arriving by air from all countries, as long as they adhere to health protocols set out by the local government, which include bringing a certified negative Covid-19 test.

International flights are set to resume to the island starting on July 1st and will continue to expand services as demand increases.

No mandatory quarantine period is in place.

On July 16, the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina lifted travel bans on several countries and started officially reopening the nation for tourism.

Those who can currently visit include:

Nationals and residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina returning home
Nationals of Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia
Citizens and residents of the European Union and Schengen nations

Brazil officially reopened their borders for tourism on July 30, 2020

In a surprise move, Brazil reopened its borders, basically without any restrictions. Brazil is only asking visitors to have valid travel insurance that covers covid, and a valid visa (if your country requires one.)

Flights are now approved to land in Sao Paulo and Rio.

As of June 1 2020, the Minister of Tourism in Bulgaria announced that tourists from 30 countries can visit without being placed under a 14-day quarantine.

On July 16, Bulgaria added more countries like the UK and Canada to the list!

The Cayman Islands will has delayed its reopening for tourism until October 1st, 2020.

However, their reopening comes with some of the strictest rules we have seen so far. A negative PCR test, 5 day quarantine, another test on day 5, and the wearing of a health monitor. In all honesty, you might want to choose another island!

China has announced that Beijing will be reopening to international flights from 8 countries ending 5 months of lock-down in the Chinese capital.

Travelers will undergo a state-run 14 day quarantine and must present proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours before arriving in China.

Costa Rica will reopen its borders for tourism on August 1, 2020, allowing tourists from Canada, United Kingdom and the European Union.

Visitors arriving from the Schengen Area, which comprises some countries not in the EU, are also welcome, the Costa Rica Tourism Board clarified

Croatia

As of June 1 2020, Croatia has now reopened to tourists, first by allowing in visitors from countries within the European Union.

Then on July 1st, Croatia decided to open to all nations, with very little restrictions or exceptions.

Update July 11: Croatia MAY be requiring negative-PCR tests from certain arrivals. Clarification coming.

Cuba has reopened for tourism July 1, 2020.

Starting July 1st, tourists are now welcome to visit these specific areas of Cuba: Cayo Largo Del Sur, Cayo Coco, Cayo Guillermo, Cayo Santa María and Cayo Cruz.

Testing is required on arrival, but is FREE!

Curaçao

Curaçao has reopened for tourism and starting accepting select Caribbean nations mid-June, and other countries like Canada, France, Italy and more July 1st.

Tests are needed, plus a few other entry requirements.

Cyprus

As of June, Cyprus is now open for many international tourists.

The countries that can enter are divided into 2 lists based on risk-factors and it’s updated frequently. On July 15th a list of countries was added that require no testing and no quarantines.

If you are arriving from a country on one of the two lists, you will need to know the protocols for entry into Cyprus
Czech Republic

As of July 15 onward, certain EU nations and approved third-party nations with a low risk can enter the Czech Republic without a test or quarantine period.

The list of countries that can enter the Czech Republic for tourism is dynamic and is updated at weekly intervals according to current epidemiological situations, categorizing low to high risk.

Dominica

The island nation of Dominica is officially reopening for tourism on August 7, 2020

Tourists will have to bring a negative PCR test them, have a rapid test on arrival, and a few other entry requirements to help keep the nation safe.

Dominica only had 18 cases total and currently has zero cases!

The Dominican Republic will reopen to tourists starting on July 1st, The Minister of Economy, Planning, and Development has confirmed.

International airports in the Dominican Republic will also restart all operations beginning In July.

Social distancing and face-covering requirements remain in effect to slow the spread of coronavirus.

Ecuador

Ecuador has now reopened for tourism

As of August 16, tourists can now travel to Ecuador WITHOUT quarantine, as long as they bring a negative PCR test, no older than 10 days.

While they did officially open back in June, there was still a mandatory 14-day quarantine, strict curfews, movement restrictions, and limited air service.

Egypt

Egypt has announced it will reopen its borders for tourism to seaside resorts starting on July 1st.

Tourism brings in around $1 billion in revenue for Egypt each month, so the impact of the border closures caused by the pandemic has been significant.

Estonia

Estonia has officially reopened for tourism!

Most EU nations have been able to visit since June 1, 2020, and select third-party countries from July 6, 2020.

Finland has now reopened for tourism as of July 15th and has recently updated the countries that are permitted to visit.

As of July 23rd, additional third-party countries are now permitted to enter Finland as well.

France

The Prime Minister of France announced on Twitter that the country will begin reopening to tourists starting on June 15th.

As of July 1, additional third-party countries are now permitted to enter France as well

French Polynesia (Bora Bora and Tahiti)

On July 15th Tahiti, Bora Bora, Mo’orea and other French Polynesian islands will reopen to tourists from all countries and will not be requiring a mandatory 14-day isolation period for visitors. (But yes, tests are needed to enter)

On June 5th during a press conference by the President and the High Commissioner of French Polynesia, it was concluded they’ve successfully protected themselves and are getting ready to reopen.

Georgia

Georgia went back and forth on their reopening news a few times, but finally released it’s formal plan

Georgia is officially reopening on July 31, but only allowing 5 nations in restriction-free. There is another short list of nations that can also enter on that date, but with a 14-day quarantine. (A very far cry from their ‘all nations welcome’ plan earlier this summer)

Germany just announced that it will be officially reopening to tourists on June 15th, allowing 31 countries to cross its borders for the purposes of tourism.

On July 1st, Germany announced they will also reopen to select third-party countries outside the EU, like Canada, Thailand and Montenegro, starting July 2.

Greece will officially reopen to tourists starting in June.

Beginning on June 15th, Greek officials said that the country will not restrict travelers coming from 29 countries.

As of July 1, 2020 Greece has now approved 15 thrid-party nations (like Canada, Japan, and Australia) to visit.

Grenada

Grenada is officially reopening for tourism starting July 15th

CARICOM (Caribbean nations) will first be allowed to enter starting July 15.
Then starting August 1 the island will reopen to nations like Canada, the UK, USA and more, but with very strict entry requirements.

Guadeloupe

Guadeloupe reopened for tourism on July 1, 2020 allowing select nations to visit.

The USA however remains banned until further notice.

Visitors must sign a sworn health declaration and bring a negative PCR test wit 72 hours of departure.

Haiti has officially reopened for tourism and is allowing all nations to visit.

The airport reopened on July 1 and some flights from the USA have already resumed, with Canadian flights restarting right away.

Entry requirements are still a grey area, with 14-day quarantine rumoured to be happening, but has not yet been made mandatory. Other than that, it’s just a temperature scan and a health form.

Honduras has officially reopened airports and is now allowing international tourism to resume in the country as of August 17, 2020.

All countries welcome!

Tourists entering Honduras must present a Covid test (rapid or PCR) that was performed with negative results no older than 72 hours prior to arrival.

Hungary

As of July 16 Hungary is now open for tourism and allowing select countries to visit, while banning others that have little/no cases, making it a strange reopening indeed.

Important Update: Hungary is closing borders for tourism on September 1.

Iceland

The prime minister of Iceland has reopened the country’s borders to tourists from June 15.

Update August 19: Passengers arriving into Iceland have a choice: They can either choose the new ‘Double boarding screening procedure’ or to go into quarantine for two weeks.

The double border-screening procedure requires all passengers arriving in Iceland to undergo two PCR-tests: one upon arrival and another 5-6 days later, while quarantining for those 5-6 days.

More countries have been added to the approved list as of July 15.

Italy

Starting Wednesday June 3rd, Italy reopened its borders to tourists from 26 countries without any restrictions upon arrival.

Then on July 1, Italy started accepting select third-party nations (like Canada), but with a 14-day quarantine requirement. They have also published a list of banned countries until July 31.

Ireland

Ireland reopened borders to 15 ‘green’ nations on July 21, allowing them entry without testing or quarantines.

Technically all nations can visit Ireland right now with a 14-day quarantine, but now those 15 green nations can visit without one!

Jamaica
Jamaica Reopening To ALL Tourists June 15th

Jamaica is officially reopening its borders to ALL international tourists on June 15th said the honorable Edmund Bartlett, head of the Ministry of Tourism.

Unlike some countries opening throughout the world, Jamaica is not restricting incoming travellers from any particular countries. Starting June 15th, Jamaica will be accepting tourists coming from any origin.

Jordan has a tentative date set for reopening: August 4

The government is planning to reopen for tourism on August 4, by first allowing a group of ‘green countries’ entry. Note: The entry requirements are pretty strict! Case numbers have been low in Jordan and they are looking to keep it that way.

Kenya Reopening Borders For Tourism on August 1st

President Uhuru Kenyatta has announced that Kenya will be reopening for international tourism on August 1st, 2020.

The country will also lift all internal travel restrictions on the same day.

Kyrgyzstan has officially reopened for tourism on August 21, now allowing select countries to once again visit since shutting its borders to foreigners in March.

31 countries can now visit. Mandatory testing and quarantines are not required, but the government says a PCR test is ‘recommended’.

Latvia

Latvia has officially reopened for tourism and is now allowing visitors from fellow EU nations, as well as select third-party countries.

Latvia has separated the nations who can visit into one list with no quarantine restrictions, and one with.

Lebanon

Lebanon reopened for tourism on July 1

Travelers must bring a negative PCR test within 72 hours of departure, carry travel insurance that covers covid and fill out a health declaration form.

Lithuania

Lithuania started reopening in June, 2020.

Now as of August, only EU nations and select third-party countries with an infection rate lower than 16 cases per 100,000 in population over the last 14 days can enter Lithuania without testing and/or quarantine.

Many EU nations have actually been removed from the entry list very recently.

Luxembourg has a list of EU nations and third-party countries that can now visit with no testing or quarantine.

Malaysia opened for MEDICAL TOURISTS on July 1

While the current border closure is not set to expire until August 31st, Malaysia is now accepting medical tourists to enter. Many see this as the first step in their general reopening, so we thought it was very important to include.

The President of Maldives said that the country’s border will be reopening for tourism on July 15th, 2020 and international flights will resume.

Tourists from all countries will be able to enter the Maldives.

A health declaration card must be completed and all passengers will go through thermal screening.

Travelers will be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test that was taken no more than 72 hours prior to departure.

Every tourist will be provided with a free 30 day visa.

Malta is reopening for tourism on July 1st, allowing visitors from 20+ nations to enter the country without an isolation period.

The Prime Minister of Malta, Robert Abela, also announced Malta’s International Airport will resume commercial passenger flights on July 1st.

Breaking News July 11: Malta has added more third-party countries to the approved list, plus, a way for countries not included to apply for an exception. Updates Aug 18: 3 nations on the approved list now require PCR tests to enter. More details at the link below.

Cancun Reopening To Tourists Everything You Need To Know

Popular Mexico destinations such as Cancun and Playa Del Carmen officially reopened for tourism on June 8th.

The Mexico government has launched a “light system” to categorize the amount of covid-19 infections in each region. Until each region turns orange, cities do not have permission to restart tourism activities.

As of June 1st 2020, Montenegro has now reopened to tourists and accepting international arrivals from 131 countries. For many people looking to still enjoy a European summer vacation, Montenegro might serve as the perfect country.

Netherlands
Netherlands reopens to tourism

On June 15th, the Netherlands will be reopening to tourists from countries in the European Union and the Schengen area.

Then on July 1, the Netherlands decided to reopen to further third-party countries suggested by the EU, including Canada, Japan and others.

Nepal

Nepal will be reopening its borders for international tourism on September 1st as the blanket ban ends and international flights resume.

“The ministry plans to resume all tourism related activities by following health and safety protocols from September 1st” ministry’s secretary Kedar Bahadur Adhikari said, adding that safety protocols are being finalised by holding consultations with stakeholders concerned.

North Macedonia

The Republic of North Macedonia has officially reopened for international tourism July 1, 2020 and is now allowing tourists from all countries to visit, restriction free.

Norway

Norway officially reopened its borders on July 15th, 2020 to most European countries including the UK.

However, residents of Portugal, Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria and Luxembourg will be excluded due to the high rate of covid-19 infection in those countries.

Panama has officially released their reopening plan, which was approved this Tuesday by the cabinet, and has international aviation and tourism activities set to restart on October 12, 2020.

Poland

Poland will be reopening for tourism on June 13th, first allowing EU countries to visit.

Poland made the announcement today that it will be reopening its borders and lifting restrictions to visitors coming in from the 26 countries of the European Union.

As of June 13th, EU countries will not have to quarantine or isolate when they arrive into Poland.

Portugal

While entry requirements and countries permitted have been confusing, we know as of August 1 that: EU nations and 12 third-party countries can visit mainland Portugal without tests or quarantines.

Romania

Romania has reopened for tourism on July 7th

Tourists from most EU nations and some approved third-party nations can travel to Romania, relatively restriction free.

Russia has began negotiations to reopen its borders for international tourism according to a new government decree.

Russia will no longer require foreigners to self-isolate for 14 days once the country reopens to international tourism.

Rwanda

As of June 17, Rwanda has reopened for tourism, with no restrictions based on nationality or country of departure.

Visitors will be required to present a negative PCR test (taken no longer than 72 hours before boarding) and will be retested upon arrival.

International flights are starting back up and will get more frequent as the demand grows.

Saint Lucia

Saint Lucia began reopening its tourism industry in phases on June 4, 2020, said Dominic Fedee, the destination’s minister of tourism.

Visitors will be required to fill out an online form, present certified proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 7 days of boarding their flights, and upon arrival in St. Lucia, they must continue to wear facemasks and practice social distancing.

Serbia
Serbia Has Reopened To Tourists

Serbia has officially reopened for tourism to all nations.

As of May 22nd 2020, Serbia is allowing visitors to travel to the country under normal ‘pre-Covid’ regulations. That includes no mandatory testing and no isolation period for arriving tourists.

Serbia is now operating under regular and ‘pre-pandemic’ border regulations, so all normal countries that could visit Serbia before, can again now.

Seychelles

As of June 1st the Seychelles have reopened to tourists from 19 countries, with another 17 countries being considered.

The first 19 countries currently being allowed into the Seychelles for the purposes of tourism are quite the mixed bag.

They vary from countries in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the South Pacific, but they all share something in common; they’re all are considered ‘low risk’ due to low incidences of cases, responsiveness from the countries health system.

Slovenia

Slovenia is reopen for tourism and allowing select countries from inside the EU and outside the EU to visit.

Starting in June, Slovenia was only allowing close EU neighbors inside, but has now implemented a new color-coded system of entry.

Countries on the GREEN list (which includes some from inside and outside the EU!) can now visit with no tests or quarantines.

Spain
Seville Spain alternative city to Barcelona

Spain is officially reopening for tourism starting on June 21, 2020

The Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, announced Spain will first reopen it borders to all tourists coming from countries within the European Union on June 21.

Then, starting on July 3rd, Spain will reopen borders to additional countries, which can be found here

Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is officially reopening for tourism on August 15, 2020 – allowing all countries and nations to visit.

Update July 24: Due to a surge in cases, Sri Lanka has postponed the reopening, but has not provided a new date.

As long as visitors agree to bringing a negative PCR test with them, and agree to have another test upon arrival, there is no quarantine period.

St. Barth

St.Barths is officially reopening its borders for tourism on June 22, 2020 and allowing visitors from all countries to enter.

Saint Barthelemy, or St. Barths / Barts as it’s commonly called, is a beautiful French-speaking Caribbean island known for its white-sand beaches, luxurious hotels, duty-free shopping and stunning views.

St. Kitts & Nevis

St. Kitts & Nevis announced it will be reopening its borders for international tourism in October announced Prime Minister Timothy Harris.

This would allow for the resumption of air and sea commercial traffic carrying international passengers into the Federation’s ports.

Entry requirements are strict including quarantine and PCR testing.

St. Maarten
St. Maarten is Reopening For Tourism July 1

St. Maarten is officially reopening for international tourism on July 1st, following the reopening of Princess Juliana Airport (SXM).

In a recent government press statement, tourism minister Ludmila de Weever stated that the country is ready to receive travelers from Europe and North America as of July 1st.

Testing is recommended, but at this time not mandatory.

St. Vincent and The Grenadines

St. Vincent and the Grenadines are officially reopening for tourism on July 1, 2020 allowing tourists from all countries to visit.

They are reopening with a two-stage process. Starting on July 1, all arrivals must be tested. After Aug 1, only higher-risk arrivals will be tested, and fellow Caribbean nations can come in without tests.

Sweden

On March 17th, the Swedish Government decided to temporarily ban non-essential travel to Sweden from all countries with the exception of: European Union Member States, the United Kingdom, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.

This means that 31 countries can currently visit Sweden for the purposes of tourism.

Sweden has been a unique country during the pandemic because many services and establishments never actually closed down in the first place.

Switzerland

Switzerland is reopening to tourists on June 15th 2020, starting by allowing visitors from 30 countries.

Switzerland’s official government tourism site posted an announcement on June 5th 2020 stating: “Switzerland will open the borders to all EU and EFTA states and Great Britain on June 15.”

Then on July 20, 14 third-party nations (like Canada, Japan and South Korea) are allowed entry.

Tanzania

As of June 2020, Tanzania is now accepting tourists under normal and regular ‘pre-covid’ border rules. No mandatory quarantine period is currently in place, however temperature checks, mask wearing, and social distancing is in effect.

There is no mandatory 14-day isolation or quarantine period for travellers into Tanzania.

The Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand said that tourism could return in the fourth quarter of this year.

“It is still dependent on the outbreak situation, but I think at the earliest, we may see the return of tourists could be the fourth quarter of this year,” Yuthasak Supasorn, governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand told CNN

Even then, there will likely be restrictions on who can visit and where they can go said Yuthasak.

Tunisia

After more than three months with its borders being locked down, Tunisia reopened its sea, land and air borders to SELECT tourists on June 27.

A color-coded system has been implemented to show which countries may enter without restrictions and which countries can enter with enhanced restrictions.

They have created two lists of countries that are eligible to visit Tunisia for the purposes of tourism. A GREEN list and an ORANGE list.

Forbes recently listed Tunisia as one of 7 countries for becoming a top tourist destination in a post-covid world.

Turkey

Turkey has reopened its borders to international tourism starting on June 12th.

As of June 12th, they have been welcoming all tourists from all countries and nations under normal travel regulations.

Restaurants, cafes, parks and sports facilities are permitted to reopen from June 1st, along with beaches and museums.

Turks and Caicos

The Turks and Caicos Islands will begin reopening to tourists on July 22nd with new safety protocols in place.

The destination’s airline partners will resume flights from the U.S., Canada and Europe when the Providenciales International Airport opens on July 22, tourism officials said.

UAE (Dubai)

Dubai, UAE is officially reopening its borders for international tourism on July 7, 2020 – allowing travellers from all normally permitted countries to visit.

Travellers must bring a negative PCR test with them no older than 96 hours before boarding, download an app to monitor health conditions, and have travel health insurance.

UK

The United Kingdom will be reopening to international tourists in June with new covid-19 prevention measures set by the UK government.

Starting on June 8th, all visitors arriving from other countries will be able to enter the UK but will face new strict quarantine measures before any vacation or traveling can begin.

International visitors will be permitted to enter the United Kingdom but they’ll be required to self-isolate for at least 14 days.

The new measure also applies to citizens returning from overseas.

Ukraine
ukraine is open to tourists

Ukraine has officially reopened for tourism on June 15, 2020, lifting the entry ban for foreigners and resuming commercial flights.

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has developed criteria for “zoning” countries depending on the spread of COVID-19 per 100,000 population. They have created a ‘RED Zone’ country list and a ‘GREEN Zone’ country list.

Countries on the ‘GREEN Zone’ list can come in with no quarantine period.

Update Aug 26: Ukraine is shutting its borders for all tourism and foreign arrivals from August 29 to at least September 28, to help curb rising cases throughout the nation.

USA

The most important thing to know is that the U.S did not close its borders to all countries. They did however suspend tourist visas and banned Europe, Iran, Brazil and China from entering the United States.

Currently there are a few countries that can travel into the USA. They include countries that do not have a ban proclimation and countries that normally have visa-free access. See the full list of countries that can currently enter the USA here.
U.S. Virgin Islands

The U.S. Virgin Islands have officially reopened their borders for tourism on June 1st, allowing both American visitors and international visitors to enter.

When tourists arrive, they are subject to health screenings and temperature checks. If the traveler has no symptoms or high temperatures, they can enter with no mandatory testing and no quarantine period. Random testing may still be applied.

**Important Update August 18:
The USVI’s are shutting down tourism again due to a surge in cases. As of August 19th there is a 30-day prohibition on tourism, and a ‘stay at home’ order in full effect. We will update in 1-month to see if they reopen again.

Zambia

Zambia has now officially reopened for tourism.

All nations welcome.

All tourists need to bring a negative PCR test taken within 14 days of departure, and they do not have to quarantine upon arrival.

Reports are that Zambia still has their visa-on-arrival program suspended, so some travelers may need to plan and get an e-visa ahead of time.
