His birth name is Dennis Kofi Boafo and was born on August 7, 1981. He is the CEO of Dons Music Production the organizer of the famous Ghanaian awards shows in America, Ghana Music Awards – USA. He also owns Don’s TV

Born in Accra in 1981, he attended Faith in Christ Preparatory School, he went to Accra High School. He later went to the School of Social Work – Osu and Legon. He later attended Burlington County College (BCC). He has a Bachelors’s in Social Work, a Certificate of Surveying in Engineering, and also Cyber Security Comptia+. He is a Social Worker and Cyber Security Analyst. He has sales and marketing businesses in Ghana and is currently in real estate.

Dennis Boafo a.k.a Don D was a gospel musician and song writing. He released his first album in 2017 dubbed My Praise 1. He later released hits singles like #HeGotMyBack (2017) #Yawa (2018) #Winner (2018) and #Adom (2019).

After his national service with Women Initiative For Self Empowerment, Don D got employed at Darlings Human Development Foundation as the Project Coordinator for HIV/AIDS programs and the company’s Micro Credit Scheme in April 2006. He later joined the Center for Development Partnership (CDP) as the Center Manager in Suhum for a period of 9months. He traveled to the United States in 2008 for a Certificate in Domestic Violence Counseling at Emerge a DV counseling firm based in Boston. In 2010 he finally decided to settle in the United States of America.

During his High School Days in Accra High, Don D speared headed the first beauty pageant at the secondary school level The first Miss SHS held in Ghana at Old Timers in Accra in 1999 was organized by him and his colleagues from the same school.

Don D’s Charity which has been incorporated to the social responsibility program of Ghana Music Awards-USA was started by Dennis Boafo in 2017. He has donated tablets and electronic gadgets to brilliant but needy students in deprived communities.
