Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari has shared her recent experiences of juggling her acting career and motherhood, revealing a distressing incident of robbery that occurred during filming.
Nadia Buari on 3 Music TV’s “The Big Conversation recounted receiving a shocking phone call while on set, informing her that her home had been robbed.
“During the time we were filming, I was going through a lot personally. So I wasn’t focused on my lines. Even while on set, my home got robbed. We had to film, so I had to ignore it and pretend nothing had happened,” she revealed.
The talented actress emphasized the emotional toll this incident took on her as she balanced the demands of her profession with her responsibilities as a mother.
“I’m a hands-on mother. We usually start shooting around 6 PM and wrap up around 5 AM. I rush home to get my kids ready for school, drop them off, then do some house chores before picking them up later,” she explained.
“I had little time to rest while on set.”
Nadia’s candidness sheds light on the pressures faced by working mothers, particularly in the entertainment industry.
